Fab RIDETI

Fab Rideti is a French contemporary artist and photographer.

She discovered her passion for photography in 2010 at the School of Fine Arts of Versailles. In 2010, she moved to Seattle in the USA where she never failed to attract the interest of galleries, museums, and collectors.

Since 2015, she has been working in Brussels.

We will have the pleasure of discovering her recent works at the gallery.
The subjects of her photos are challenging to say the least: while appealing to our collective memory, they are « messengers » that touch on current concerns.

IMPERMANENCE is a series of portraits of very young girls. Composed like Renaissance paintings or fairy tales, the artist does not hesitate to adorn them with accessories (clothing, collars, jewelry…) recovered from the waste of our daily consumption.

NAPHTA TRIBES : Pure product of the overconsumption of the 80’s, Fab Rideti questions today the vacuity of our quest to have and the capacity of Man to persist in his errors. With this new series, Naphta Tribes, she makes us aware of the abusive use of plastic and its impact on the oceans.
