Yom de Saint-Phalle is a French contemporary artist.

Born in Paris in July 1970, Yom, whose real name is Guillaume de Saint Phalle, was interested in modeling and painting from an early age. In 1994, he enlisted in the French Foreign Legion until 2001, when he devoted himself to art, joining his aunt Niki de Saint Phalle in California. He spent a year with her, and began sculpting as a welder, then as a mosaicist, before turning his attention to composite materials. After Niki's death, he continued his training with Raymond Hains in Paris until 2005.

His art is : “ an invitation to tolerance, to respect the world's diversity, human destinies, cultures and geographies.
I try to develop sculptures that are coherent in all dimensions, that can be placed in all directions, without losing their symbolic power. I try to find balance in imbalance, movement in immanence, radiance in transparency. The message in art is generally to attempt to change, however modestly, the framework of the human psyche, to push back and refine our perception of life: I'm no exception to this tradition..”
