The Ancienne Nonciature and Frédérick Mouraux Gallery are pleased to announce the new art event ‘ARTE NUNZIO Autumn 2025’.
This exhibition presents the works of two international contemporary artists represented by Frédérick Mouraux Gallery, Barbara Kandiyoti (BE) and Jörg Bräuer (DE/BE), as well as a guest artist, Manu Kurz (DE).
The exhibition will take place from 25 September to 5 October 2025 in the historic salons of the emblematic Ancienne Nonciature located in the Arts district of the Grand Sablon in Brussels. It will cover the period of the B.A.S., Brussels Art Square (from 25 to 28 September), which will proudly celebrate its 20th anniversary in the Sablon!
The curatorial team for this new exhibition is made up of 2 couples with a passion for art and strong artistic convictions, whose encounter was an obvious choice: Anne Derasse and Jörg Bräuer for the Ancienne Nonciature, and Flavie Durand-Ruel and Frédérick Mouraux for the Frédérick Mouraux Gallery.
Barbara Kandiyoti’s sculptural ceramics will grace the historic rooms with their poetic vitality. Jörg Bräuer’s paintings and photographs will plunge us into his philosophical research into IM/PERMANENCE. His striking video will take centre stage in the prestigious Grand Salon, immersing the viewer in the fracas of Iceland’s largest glacier, sublimated by the world premiere of music by composer Manu Kurz.
Opening reception on Thursday 25 September, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday 26, Saturday 27, Sunday 28 September, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
From Tuesday 30 September to Sunday 5 October, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
