On the occasion of the PhotoBrussels Festival 2026, Frédérick Mouraux Gallery is honored to present a group exhibition by eight international artists.
The success of a group show depends essentially on the selection of diverse works that must coexist without detracting from each other. At Frédérick Mouraux Gallery, visitors can appreciate the elegance and sensitivity with which the works are brought together. This is no easy task, given the wide variety of techniques and dimensions displayed, and the variety of messages conveyed.
It is a real pleasure to present this new exhibition of eight talented artists from all over the world, whose works speak to our sensibilities, our collective artistic unconscious, and our social and global concerns. We discover a natural world through the works of Bob VERSCHUEREN, Raphaële DE BROISSIA, Erik SAMAKH, Thierry ARDITTI, Anatoly GANKEVICH, Jörg BRÄUER, Barbara KANDIYOTI and Sophie BLANC.
Our featured artist is French artist Julien SALAUD, who is deeply committed to the environment and to animals. Bob VERSCHUEREN scans nature and represents it through a double portrait of leaves. Raphaële DE BROISSIA brings materials back to life, interpreting them with dazzling shades of green and blue, like flamboyant terrestrial or underwater plant life. Erik SAMAKH captivates us with his self-portraits and photos taken in his studio all seasons-long. Thierry ARDITTI's photographs are a hymn to women. Anatoly GANKEVICH moves us with photographs taken very early in the morning, revealing a fascinating natural world in a unique atmosphere. Jörg BRÄUER surprises us with his technique and the light in his black-and-white clichés. Barbara KANDIYOTI presents her breathtaking ceramics. Sophie BLANC closes the exhibition with gold-leaf plants sublimating nature as jewel-like sculptures…
These creators are equally adept at using highly sophisticated and innovative techniques as they are at drawing on a more traditional repertoire of expression. They never deny the history of photography and the evolution of art, but rather seek inspiration in great principles of artistic quality (the golden ratio, composition and balance, unity, light study, variety, etc.).
This Group Show at Frédérick Mouraux Gallery opens the new year in beauty and proves to be a real success.
